ANCIENT BARDS The Alliance Of
The Kings + 1 bonus track
Female fronted Euro sympho epic power metal for fans of Rhapsody and
early Nightwish. Limb says "Some say Ancient Bards are somehow like a
"more sophisticated" Rhapsody – that wouldn't do the sextet justice.
Ancient Bards are definitely versatile enough to deliver their musical
visions without merely being copycats. Their debut album, "The Alliance
Of The Kings", is impressive proof of this and will be a surprise for
those with a love of Epic-Metal with classy arrangements."

CRISIS Armed To The Teeth + Kick It Out 2CD
Tim says "Obscure US 80's Metal band CRISIS formed back in 1980. Taking
a heavy dose of their influences from MOTORHEAD, RAVEN, IRON MAIDEN,
and the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, it wasn't to big of a suprise
that they got signed to an English label, Bullet Records. Their debut
came out in 1984 "Armed To The Teeth" and of course their music was
much bigger in Europe than the USA because they weren't being another
Motley Crue or Quiet Riot band. After the well received first album,
the band's label went bankrupt and the second album "Kick It Out"
failed to reach European distributors and their established fans. The
band struggled on and eventually called it quits. This release contains
the band's entire career on a double disc with a full color booklet
with the band's history and lyrics.

DEEP SWITCH Nine Inches Of God 2CD
Tim says "The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal in my opinion has
basically 2 eras. The first era is from 1979 to 1981 which is
considered the big boom of Heavy Metal. The 2nd era is from 1982 to
1986-ish. So taking us into the mid 80’s a band from the U.K. emerged
called Deep Switch. They looked and sounded like no other band and that
still holds true today. They never really took heavy metal too
seriously, but that doesn’t mean their music wasn’t serious, because it
was, although it was laced with a lot of humor. I think Deep Switch was
more influenced by Monty Python than heavy metal. This is extremely
unique and original material. Even if you’re not into obscure
N.W.O.B.H.M., you should at least treat yourself to hearing this just
for the experience. The release consists of 2 CDs, the first one being
their classic album, while the 2nd disc is a collection of all their
demos. They had a very short lived career, but a very long-winded tale
of their history is written inside this massive booklet along with ton
of band photos. This band is so original and unique I really couldn’t
even point you to some other similar sounding bands." Listen: http://www.myspace.com/deepswitch

GHOST MACHINERY Out For Blood
Limb says "Out For Blood" is a technically complex, finely interpreted
Melodic Power metal album. From start to finish, the eleven songs
impress the listener with the explosive guitar work and hugely powerful
choruses with great unforgetability factors, which not even the
Scandinavian kings of metal were able to write in their heyday. It's
positive metal power in every note! Pete Ahonen, Burning Point singer
& guitar player, with the sophomore album of his second band.
Fantastic Neo-Classical Power Metal with unforgettable, powerful
choruses!. All band members can look back on extensive musical
experience in various Finnish bands. For fans of Sonata Arctica,

ITALIAN METAL ATTACK FROM THE
PAST
Volume 1 : HAVOC + BLOODY SKIZZ
Primo says "HAVOC has been the real first Glam Rock band in Italy, back
in 84. Their shocking image influenced by Twisted Sister and Motley
Crue, their powerful still melodic sound and their incredible
live-shows made them become one of the most requested Rock live-acts in
Italy back then. They recorded one demo tape (“Shock’n’Roll”) in 1988
and another demo-track in 1987, all included in this CD, along with 4
video clips taken from their infamous live shows in Sorisole, 1987!
BLOODY SKIZZ have been one of the prime-movers in the Italian Heavy
Metal scene in the 80s. They started during 1981 and they recorded
their now-incredibly-rare and great debut-7” in 1982. No doubts, these
2 songs started the New Wave Of Italian Heavy Metal with a “bang”! The
Cd features a rich artwork with a full colour 8 pages booklet,
including pics, memorabilia and more, plus a fully re-mastered sound
from the original DAT master-tapes!"

JALDABOATH The Rise Of The Heraldic Beast
Napalm says "Fans of Alestorm's extraordinary Scottish Pirate Metal
will love Jaldaboath's Heraldic Templar Metal! The style combines an
intoxicating mix of metal, Middle Ages, and Monty Python, while
remaining innovatively fresh and distinguishing itself from the
Medieval rock sounds of already established bands. Catchy melodies,
galloping drums, exquisitely sarcastic and humorous lyrics, and Sir
Jaldaboath's unmistakable clean vocal style makes songs such as "Hark
the Herald" or "Seek the Grail" impossible to resist. This debut
signals the beginning a new musical crusade! Join in!!!"

LAROXX Laroxx
Primo says "For the very first time on CD the debut-album of
Glam/Street Hard Rockers from Italy LAROXX originally out, only on
cassette, in 1992. The album was originally recorded for a release in
USA and Japan thru a major-label, and a promotional tour in the States
(prior of the announced release) was set up, with gigs played at famous
“Troubador”, “Foundation Forum” and “F.M. Station” in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately things went bad, as the label supposed to release the
album suddenly dropped the offer, so the band found itself with a great
(and expensive!) album in its hands without a label ready to release
it! The album has a pure Party-Glam-Street Rock flavour, close to the
sound of US bands like Poison, Pretty Boy Floyd and early Motley Crue.
Fantastic artwork with a de-luxe full colour 16 pages booklet,
including pics, memorabilia and lyrics, plus a fully re-mastered sound
from the original DAT master-tapes!"

MASQUERADE Cybernetic Empire
Primo says "MASQUERADE has been regarded, back in the ‘80s, as one of
the best unsigned european Power Metal bands, due to their incredible
song-writing and musicianship! They opened some shows for the one and
only European headlining-tour of mighty CRIMSON GLORY, plus they also
played with HELSTAR, ELEGY and more. MASQUERADE trademarks were the
incredible vocals a la Geoff Tate/Midnight, powerful and fast
double-guitars parts and awesome melodies... they had everything to
become a successful band. It’s really a mystery why they never did
it!!! “Cybernetic Empire” includes all the songs MASQUERADE ever
recorded, starting from their first “Behind The Mask” demo-tape,
passing thru’ the never released 5 tracks EP and finishing with
alternate versions, studio-outtakes, live and unreleased songs,
spanning a 1989-1994 period! Everything has been digitally re-mastered
from the original master-reels (that the band luckily kept well
stored), and – as usual for our releases – the CD has been carefully
packed in a de-luxe full colour 16 pages booklet, including pics,
memorabilia, various flyers and a detailed band-biography, with a
fantastic cover-artwork! For fans of US Power Metal a la Crimson Glory,

NEVERNIGHT Nevernight
Primo says "Incredible debut-album for the italian Metal-band
NEVERNIGHT; the band was put together in 2001, but only now - after
dozens of live-concerts, some demo-tapes and countless hours spent in
their rehearsals-room - they felt it was the right time to put out a
real album. And it’s a real “bang”! Their style is heavily influenced
by the ‘80s Heavy Metal scene and it might be described as a powerful
mix among classic Testament, Iced Earth and Savatage, plus some early
Annihilator, Metallica and Queensryche elements thrown into for good!
NEVERNIGHT has it all: technical abilities, a clever songwriting and
the right Metal-attitude. Italian press already compared them to
another great italian Metal band, ELDRITCH! Very good production and a
de-luxe full colour 16 pages booklet, including all lyrics!"

ORDEN OGAN Easton Hope + bonus
track(s)
AFM says "For some they are "the only legitimate Blind Guardian
successor" (Rock Hard Germany 03/08), for others "the new Running Wild"
(Metal Hammer Germany 11/09) but "even when ORDEN OGAN regard
themselves as following the tradition of these bands, they have got so
much more to offer" (Rock Hard Germany 06/08). This new German force in
the Melodic Metal realm is said to be one of the most inventive new
bands and the big zines' journalists praise the masterly and unique
mixture of traditional Power Metal with modern elements, folk and
progressive influences, as well as elements from the Gothic field." A

OVERLORD Back Into the Dragon's Lair
Jeremy says "In the cold Ontario winter of ’83 Overlord came to be,
formed by delinquent school chums, bassist Branko Zugaj and guitarist
Mark Platt. After receiving their grade 12 the two would separate only
to meet back up by chance in a martial arts club. There they would
decide to form a band and the search for players was on. A vocalist and
drummer were recruited but did not last long leaving the duo to bring
in session players Dario Rubini on drums and vocalist Colin Wilkinson,
who joined the band in the studio to record their 1985 four-song
self-titled EP. Once the EP was released copies were madly submitted to
press and labels worldwide in hopes to land a deal. Landing a deal
would prove difficult for a number of reasons, but despite it all
interest was gained by press and labels such as Ebony and Combat
Records. Sadly nothing would materialize. In the fall of 1988 Zugaj and
Platt recruited full time vocalist Jim Feeney. The search for a
permanent drummer proved more difficult, so the band had to rely on a
session musician once again. With Juno award winning engineer Stu Young
(famous for working with Prince) and Mike Levine of Triumph they
created their most progressive EP to date. Finally in 1993, the band
found their drummer in Barry White. Overlord had at long last built a
permanent lineup, which proved to be their strongest lineup to date.
Back to Metalworks they went, this time with famed producer John Punter
(of Roxy Music) and engineer Mark Peters to record the EP ‘The Open
Eye’. After a decade Branko, one of the founding members, would leave
the band in ’93, a month before the remaining members would call it
quits. Fast forward to 2001, when interest in the band resurfaced in a
place they hadn’t previously thought of tapping into. European fans
were quite interested in Overlord, whose music had somehow surfaced in
Europe. Fans were clamoring for the vinyl self-titled EP and paying
outrageous amounts of money for a copy. This led to bootlegs, rave
reviews and the development of a large cult following. A brief reunion
would be inspired by the new found interest. After one more recording
session the members went their separate ways putting an end to the
Overlord of the past. For fans of: Manilla Road, Brocas Helm, Cirith
Ungol, and Blue Oyster Cult."

REVELATION Never Comes Silence
Tim says "Coming into their sophomore album, Revelation ended up losing
their bass player, Bert Hall (to pursue other music) and recruited Josh
Hart. The album started off as a demo and was also the album where the
band felt like they had corrected their mistakes on the “Salvation’s
Answer” debut. Shortly after they finished writing the entire album,
the band had good fortune to meet up with Hellhound Records who
happened to be signing a lot of the local Doom Metal bands. This album
is sort of a tribute to hard times John Brenner was going through and
shortly after the album came out, he left the band until the turn of
the century. This is a staple album in the Doom Metal genre and surely
is a great mix of Black Sabbath and Rush, which could be considered as
Progressive Doom if you want to get technical. There’s a bonus gig on
the multimedia CD that you can watch on your computer with this line up
of John, Josh, and Steve."

REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE Trinity
Napalm says ""Trinity" is Revolution Renaissance's third full-length
ending their album trilogy. Once again, the band revolving around main
songwriter and guitar wizard Timo Tolkki (former Stratovarious
mastermind) shows how first-class tracks such as "Dreamchild" or
"Falling to Rise" are brilliantly carried out by perfectly balancing
ambition and appeal. "Trinity's" title track is the album's core, and
while it last well over 10 minutes, each second is able to enthrall the
listener beyond all expectations. Revolution Renaissance delivers an
album able to exhilarate melodic power metal fans everywhere."

RITUAL The Ancient Tome
Jeremy says "Formed in Livingston, New Jersey by singer Billy Farley
and guitarist Judson Legon in the early part of the (1980s), Ritual
would become one of the area’s most popular bands by the end of the
decade. Farley and Legon had previously played together in local bands
Black Sheep and Final Plea before forming Ritual. By the end of ’85 a
four-song demo was released and soon radio stations in the area began
to play cuts from the recording. Just as fast as requests poured into
one radio station, other stations started to play the demo. Future
‘That Metal Show’ host Eddie Trunk, then working at WDHA 105.5FM said
of the band: “Ritual are one of the most promising bands to come out of
New Jersey.” The time was right for a full length release. Without any
label support the band entered All Star Studio in Bloomfield, NJ with
producer Brian Bannon & J. Vicari to record the 1987 debut
‘L.T.M.P. ‘(Let the Metal Play). The independent seven song release was
presented under a simplistic and “to the point” cover designed by now
famous tattooist Paul Booth. L.T.M.P was well received and attention
continued to grow. To support the album, Ritual undertook a relentless
touring schedule, traveling up and down the East Coast. The band shared
the stage with everyone from hard rock acts like Cinderella and White
Lion to metal bands like Fates Warning, TT Quick, King Diamond and
Accept. As Ritual continued to tour, buzz began to spread about their
high-energy live performances. Soon friend Zakk Wylde would bring
the band to the attention of manager Mark Weiss. Weiss, who had been
responsible for introducing Zakk to Ozzy Osbourne as well as Sebastian
Bach to Skid Row, saw great potential in the Jersey band to become a
“major force” in the current rock scene. No longer was Ritual just a
group of circuit riders. Radio stations across the country began to
play the title track. Album cuts even began to make the airwaves abroad
in the U.K. and Holland. Plenty of media coverage would follow from
RIP, Metal Rendevous, Metal America, Network, Blitz (UK), Burnn!
(Japan), and even Rolling Stone. All the while fan mail from around the
world kept coming in. Ritual returned to the studio in 1989 to record a
follow up to L.T.M.P. Due to studio shifts and personnel changes the
planned full length was divided up into a pair of EPs. The first was
the four-song ‘Evil in Your Heart’ EP recorded at Waterfront Studios.
Sessions where then moved to an at the time “secret location” to finish
the tracks for the second EP ‘Dark Star’. Later that location would be
revealed to be NBC Studios and Saturday Night Live soundstage. Once
again Ritual was rewarded with high praise from fans and press
worldwide, yet strangely enough label attention seemed to lack. Ritual
was not discouraged by this, as they seemed to be making their own way.
But how far could it go without label support? Farley was undeterred by
this and continued Ritual, despite line-up changes more recordings
would be produced. In the coming years a lot of interest for Ritual
recordings would come from collectors, which helped keep the name
alive. For fans of: Killer Dwarfs, Quiet Riot, Ratt, and Motley Crue."

TOMMY VITALY Just Me
Franko says "Tommy Vitaly was born on May 3, 1974 in Florence, Italy.
He started playing guitar at the age of 15. His early influences were
bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica. A few years later Tommy
started studying the styles of the greatest rock and metal guitar
players like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and his favourite musician, Yngwie
J. Malmsteen. Besides rock music Tommy studied classical music. He
plays piano since he was 7 years old and also plays clarinet. He works
as a private guitar teacher nowardays and besides playing his original
music, Tommy also plays in a Helloween-tribute-band called MR. EAGLE.
So far he has relased 2 albums with his Power Metal band SEVEN GATES
and now IceWarrior Records proudly present his 1st solo album "Just me"
"Just Me" is a Neoclassical Power Metal-album featuring many well-known
