CULPRIT Guilty As Charged + 3 bonus tracks
Official reissue with excellent packaging and better sound than the
original LP release in my opinion; early 80's Shrapnel heavy metal with
a Maidenish tinge; at times the playing reminds me of Juggernaut and
Tension.

Awesome US traditional power metal! Haven't heard this many crunchy
galloping riffs in years. If you like bands like Omen (first 3 albums),
Iced Earth (circa Night of the Stormrider) and early Jag Panzer, then
this Exiled CD cannot be missed. Every single song is a metal gem. One
of the best US metal albums of 2007.

Sir Lord Doom states "Most of the tracks come straight and heavy, while

NOT FRAGILE 20th Century Ballroom
German traditional power metallers return with a solid comeback that
should have fans of their rare 'Hard To Be Alive' and "Lost In A Dream'
CDs rejoicing. This new album is all about melodic speed (Not Fragile's
trademark) with a bit more crunch and less emphasis on the polka
melodies. There's two mid-paced cuts towards the end that should not
detract from the frenzied majority. In the style of 80s bands like
Atlain and Brainfever crossed with today's rootsier German bands like
Custard, Black Abyss and so on.

NOT FRAGILE Yesterday's Heroes
The label says "fantastic new tracks, rerecordings and great cover
versions!" Indeed this CD of 14 tracks would make for a great
soundtrack to a metal party, with some Not Fragile originals, new and
old, mixing it up with some pumped up (Not Fragile style) classic hard
rock and metal songs. At the end of the listening experience, I can
only say that the Not Fragile originals are the main attention getters
here, outclassing the "big name" bands they cover. A good stopgap CD
that calls to attention the need for more new Not Fragile recordings --
one of Germany's unsung heroes when it comes to traditional power
metal.

NOT FRAGILE Time To Wonder + bonus video clip
A true return to their melodic speed and power metal roots; in the
style of early Blind Guardian and early Helloween (Walls/Judas). More
guitar and vocal harmonies like the early Not Fragile days would have
really put it over the top, but this is easily Not Fragile's best CD
since their rare Lost in a Dream/Hard to Be Alive CD releases from many
years ago. Amazing drummer Mike Terrana (Rage) plays on 4 of the 15
tracks; no surprise that those 4 tracks are the best ones on offer.
Jutta Weinhold (Zed Yago/Velvet Viper) puts in a guest vocal on a
track. Beautiful full color booklet with lots of photos, complete
lyrics and more.
